The Atlas Fellowship is a free program for talented high school students to develop big-picture thinking about science, philosophy, and the future.
You’ll learn to form your own conclusions about the world’s most pressing problems and what you can do about them.
Atlas Fellows are selected through a rigorous process that consists of two application rounds and an online interview. Two tiers of prizes will be awarded - Finalists awarded $1,000 each, and 100 Fellows awarded $50,000 and an invitation to our in-person program in the summer. This isn’t just another summer program – this is a global talent search for people who will help tackle some of the world’s most pressing problems and steer the future of our civilization.

High school students can apply directly.
Teachers, coaches, parents, and students can nominate someone.
Receive a $500 prize if you nominate a student who gets selected as an Atlas Fellow (and has not already applied).

TLDR: 3 stages — a quick initial written application (less than an hour), a longer written application (3-5 hours), and an invite-only interview. No essays.
