The Fulbright Program is an flagship international education exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government and is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries. Fulbright Foreign Student Program is designed for Emaswati who wish to undertake study in the United States leading to a Master’s degree. The applicant must have an undergraduate (4 year) degree in the chosen academic discipline. For 2021, all disciplines are welcome to apply, and there are 3 scholarships available for 2-year masters degrees only.
If you are interested in studying towards a two-year master's degree in the U.S., please register for a webinar which is required for all prospective applicants to attend. The next webinar will be in March, and details will be posted on the US Embassy Eswatini social media pages. To be eligible:
You must be a Swati citizen OR a permanent resident holding a valid passport issued by the government of Eswatini
You must wish to undertake study in the United States leading to a Master’s degree only
You must have an undergraduate (4 years) degree in any academic discipline
Have sufficient level of English proficiency to enable them to engage in graduate level study in the U.S.
Display academic excellence, ideally with a 2:2 or better 4-year bachelor’s degree, and must submit academic transcript for every semester of your undergraduate studies
Special preference for applicants living with disabilities, and those from underserved communities.
