The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) is now accepting applications for the 2025/2026 academic year. Eligibility for International Applicants
To be eligible for the Mastercard Foundation Scholarship as an international applicant, the following criteria must be met:
Academic Qualifications:
Applicants must have genuine and valid academic results from accredited and recognized institutions. This includes GCE O'Level and A'Level results, or their equivalent.
Results must not be more than five years old.
Awaiting results applicants will not be considered.
KNUST Admission Requirements:
Applicants must meet the general admission requirements of KNUST.

Applicants must demonstrate significant financial need and come from an economically disadvantaged background.
Leadership and Community Engagement:
Strong records of leadership and community involvement are necessary.

Eligibility for First-Time Applicants:
Applicants must not currently be enrolled in any tertiary institution.

A printout of their application for admission to KNUST (if available).
Original certificates for Senior High School results (such as WASSCE, GBCE, ABCE, or GCE O'Level and A’Level results, or equivalent).
