What is Being Funded?
This scholarship supports development-related Master’s and doctoral studies for individuals who plan to pursue careers in teaching and/or research at higher education institutions in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Scholarship Benefits
The DAAD In-Country/In-Region Programme offers a comprehensive support package, including:
Monthly individual scholarship payments
Payment of tuition fees

Options for a research stay abroad (Subject to funding availability and a successful application)
